about

I am a theatre director, facilitator and dramaturg based in London working across the UK. I make work that is playful, provocative, entertaining and honest. I am particularly interested in queer and female-led stories, and am excited by interesting and unusual collaborations.

My work has been shown at over 40 venues across the UK and at international spaces including in Australia, Germany and Singapore. My recent production DYKE Systems Ltd was selected by The Stage as one of The Fringe Five, highlighting the top 5 breakout performances at the festival, and listed in The Independent as one of the best shows of the Fringe.

Education and work with young people is at the core of my practice, and I have been a Mentor Director for the National Theatre Connections programme since 2022, and have worked with young people for The Donmar Warehouse and Leeds Playhouse. I have taught and directed productions at drama schools including Rose Bruford, ALRA, The Central School of Speech and Drama and Mountview.

Previously I was Trainee Director at Leeds Playhouse and I graduated from the Birkbeck MFA in Theatre Directing with Distinction in 2019. I co-founded and was co-artistic director of UK Touring company Unholy Mess from 2012-2018.
